Ed Zinthefer, Chris Merklein, and Ray Walter from Arch Electric recently presented Rick Smith and Steve Roncke from RA Smith National with a congratulatory plaque for the installation of their 19.32kw Solar PV Array and a 1.5kw Wind Turbine. “We chose Arch Electric after meeting with several PV contractors. Arch Electric presented a proposal that was easy to understand and made sense to us. It appeared like they really knew the PV industry and the different grants and incentives that existed to help fund our project. When it came to the installation of our project, I could not have been more pleased, everything went very smooth and their work was done very professionally. we since have had an additional project done by Arch Electric and that project has gone very smooth as well. We have been thoroughly satisfied and proud of our investments in these projects.” “This is a very successful project for us and a pleasant experience on top of it. I’m confident we will be working with Arch Electric in the future.” These renewable energy systems will continue to save RA Smith money on their utility bills for many years into the future, providing a fantastic return-on-investment. These systems will also drastically reduce RA Smith’s carbon footprint:
——————————————————————————————————————————————————- St. Peters UCC – Saukville receives Congratulations Plaque from Arch Electric Ed Zinthefer and Chris Merklein of Arch Electric recently presented a congratulatory plaque to Mark Gierach and Jim Peterson of St. Peters UCC in Saukville, WI. In the summer of 2011 St. Peter’s UCC installed a 19.95kW Solar PV System on their south-facing roof. Because of their roof’s design (including a steeple) that will cause slight shading during parts of the day, the PV System was designed with the latest technology to maximize electricity production in these conditions. To date, the system is over-performing based on the production estimates we presented with our proposal / contract. “We’ve really enjoyed seeing our first electric bills from this project, the first one was a $0.50 credit and the last one was just over $59, when we’ve averaged over $500 per month in electrical costs. Thanks for all you’ve done for our congregation. God’s peace” Even with slight shading issues, St. Peter’s Solar PV System will:Produce 23,404 kilowatt hours per year
